Deep thought might definitely tell you otherwise. I’ve been browsing through the Happiness Project Blog for a long time.
I read Joel’s arrticle about intrinsic and extrinsic happiness at inc.com. I probably have a lot of intrinsic happiness in helping out to solve tech problems. With the recent cash crunch I do feel that more money doesn’t mean more happiness, but lack of money definitely brings down my spirits..

Yes, true, money wont make happiness but shouldnt “feel” a shortage of that as well.
When i completed my graduation and searching for a job … attending 100’s of interviews ( I literally mean that number as i was a rare malayali breed insisted to have a job only within the Cochin city which i love so much), i got the pinch of shortage of money. I have seen how the rich people are treated … but now i got a job and looking back those days, its not just money, but the health and self satisfaction which are also important.
Its important to make money, but equally important to make use of it (go around the world, enjoy the moments, share the happiness with families, relatives and friends, help the poor etc) .

Ajai
